April 8, 2008 - 7:00 p.m.
CAC meeting included a presentation by the new M-NCPPC Planning Director, Rollin Stanley, and a presentation and discussion on roads in Germantown.
March 27, 2008 - 11:00 a.m.
The Planning Board considered the general land use and environmental recommendations for the master plan, and requested an extended session in which to hear testimony--no date has yet been set. March 11, 2008 - 7:00 p.m.

March 6, 2008
The Planning Board approved staff recommendations for an Amendment to the Master Plan for Historic Preservation. This approval included two sites in Germantown: the Little Seneca Viaduct, B&O Railroad and the Germantown Culvert, B&O Railroad. The staff report can be read here.
February 26, 2008 - 7:00 p.m
CAC meeting at the Upcounty Services Center.
Historic Preservation: Read the Maryland Inventory of Historic Properties Form for the Germantown Presbyterian Church (pdf, 3.3MB), and read a letter sent to the CAC (pdf, 629KB) by Perrine Planning & Zoning, Inc., on behalf of the owner.
Zoning: Read the Briefing on Potential Strategies for Solving the TDR Absorption Issues (pdf, 1.3MB) or listen to the discussion with the Planning Board.

CAC meeting at the Upcounty Services Center. Clare Kelly presented the three historic resources for Germantown that were evaluated by the Historic Preservation Commission on December 19, 2007 (pdf, 11.8 MB)

The Historic Preservation Commission will evaluate three historic resources in Germantown for designation on the Master Plan for Historic Preservation: the Little Seneca Viaduct, B&O Railroad; the Germantown Culvert, B&O Railroad; and Germantown Presbyterian Church. The second Planning Board update on this master plan was held in Germantown at the BlackRock Center for the Arts, 12901 Town Commons Drive, Germantown. The Midcounty Corridor Study Public Workshop was held in Germantown at Seneca Valley High School.

CAC meeting to preview the items to be covered at the Planning Board session on December 17, 2007 - capacity testing for transportation and schools, plus urban design and open space concepts. See the December 17 presentation, above.
December 6, 2007 - 2:00 p.m.
CCT alignment meeting #2 with Rick Kiegel of MTA.
NOTE: Kiegel advised the attendees that studies of alignment modifications are begining so as to consider alternatives to crossing the DOE site, which is potentially historic. The Gazette article, CCT may get new route by town hub, summarizes the meeting. The discussion will continue in January.
