Historic Property Plaques
If your property is listed as an individual historic site on the Montgomery County Master Plan for Historic Preservation or if you live within a recognized historic district within Montgomery County, you may be eligible to purchase a Montgomery County historic property plaque for your home.

The Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission is pleased to announce the launch of Locator Wizard, which will help you find out about development activity in your neighborhood, locate the nearest park facilities, community resources, and more. The Maryland Historical Trust website features a searchable inventory of historic sites, including properties in Montgomery County. The website also offers instructions and an application
form for nominating standing structures to the Maryland Inventory of Historic Properties.
