"The Parks Show" is a Gold Winner of the MarCom Awards 2007 competition and the 2006 recipient of the Maryland Recreation and Parks Association's Showcase Award for "Best Video." Now in its 18th year, the show is produced jointly by the Department of Parks and the Montgomery County Council. Cathy Grubman is the producer and writer while Kelli Holsendolph, media relations manager for the Parks Department, is the host of the program.

"The Parks Show" is a regularly scheduled 15-minute presentation addressing the Montgomery County Park System and its multiple and varied features. It airs on County Cable Montgomery, Channel 6, or as a live streaming video and/or audio via the Montgomery County Government Web site.
