Project Name: Carroll Avenue Neighborhood Conservation (SHA Streetscape)

Description: The purpose of this project is to calm speeding traffic and provide improved pedestrian and bicycle access to transit, Long Branch Stream Valley Park and its trail, and to other destinations served by Carroll Avenue. The project area is Carroll Avenue between University Boulevard and Garland Avenue. One side of the street is in the City of Takoma Park. The project also includes replacement of the bridge over Long Branch stream. This project was initiated at the request of citizens.
