Private Project: Takoma Park Middle School Greenhouse

Description
The project provides a 10.5 foot high greenhouse for use in student science studies. The project will be located in a grassy area with optimum exposure to the sun. A wrought iron fence will surround the greehouse, to be anchored by masonry piers that match the brick of the school. One small tree will be relocated to accommodate the greenhouse.

Opportunities for Public Participation
Community members were asked to contact the M-NCPPC staff with questions and comments by March 27, 2003. Neighbors had been previously informed about the project. Many community members and organizations provided support and funding.
